Award-winning ‘My Hero Academia’ Anime Actor to Be Guest At Ninth Spa-Con Comics and Pop Culture Convention September 19 – 21 in Hot Springs

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — Zeno Robinson, the award-winning actor who voices Hawks in the “My Hero Academia” anime series, will be a guest celebrity September 19 – 21 for the ninth Spa-Con comics and pop culture convention in Hot Springs.

“Zeno won the award for best voice actor at the 2021 Anime Awards for his work as Hawks in ‘My Hero Academia’ and we’re fortunate to have him as one of our featured guests this fall at Spa-Con,” Visit Hot Springs Special Events Manager Alexis Hampo said. “Spa-Con has a lot of ‘My Hero Academia’ fans who I think will be excited about his guest appearance too.”

Tickets are now on sale for the 2025 Spa-Con at www.spa-con.org. Early-bird weekend passes are $25 until May 4, at which time the price will increase. VIP passes are available at $125 until that time.

Zeno Robinson began his acting journey in middle school in a program called “All About Kids” and soon thereafter signed with a major Los Angeles talent agency and began his professional voiceover start as Alan Albright in “Ben 10: Alien Force” at age 14.

He now can be heard as Remy in “Big City Greens,” Hawks in “My Hero Academia,” Cyborg in “Young Justice,” and The Green Poncho in “Craig of the Creek.”

Hampo said, “Our 2025 Spa-Con poster highlights birds in pop culture, so it just makes sense to bring in someone who voiced Hawks.”

“Spa-Con is going on its ninth year in Hot Springs, so of course it’s going to be a good one,” she said.
